About Me
In real life, I’m in my 30s. I live with my husband and cat in Minnesota, USA. I work as an editor. I’ve always liked to read and write, but knitting has taken up more of my free time lately. I’m also interested in weaving. You can see some of my fiber arts projects here.

I have lots of other interests, too. Among other things, I collect vintage Halloween items. I also dabble in video games, reselling thrifted stuff on eBay, baking, and gardening.

I am drawn to weird ephemera and love the idea of creating a zine, or stickers, or just about any paper-based physical item. I think tarot and astrology are interesting, and I collect quotes I like in an index card file box on my desk. Basically, I'm interested in a lot of stuff, and there's nothing I won't Google.

On the internet, I’m a recovering lurker. In the early 2000s, preteen me was active in chatrooms and forums. I loved browsing funky personal websites and fan pages on Geocities, MSN Groups, and other such places.

Eventually, I became more self-conscious about posting and stopped. It seemed like everyone else did too, as the internet became less personal and more commercial. I dipped my toe in too, trying to earn money from various websites. But eventually, I came to miss the early 00s internet.

I realized I can’t complain about personal websites going missing if I don’t have one of my own. So here it is. I used the trashcan coding skills I learned from Neopets in 2003 to make this website, along with snippets of found code glued together from who knows where. It’s been so fun.

I plan to us this as a space to share projects, talk about the interests I listed above, and drone about whatever else strikes my fancy. Hopefully, with some human connection along the way.
